I grew up in Brighton but lived my adult life furthest from the sea, so Anchor cottage is my dream bolthole. I fell in love with Porthleven the place as much as Anchor cottage the house. Restaurants, great pubs, harbour bustle and waterside fun with markets, food festivals art galleries and most of all that view! Wake to Cornwall light the sound of waves breaking on the shore. Sit out on the terrace and watch the sun dip whilst cooking al fresco. The granite walls, window seats and quirky little storm porch make this little cottage even more adorable as it stands defiantly facing the Atlantic.

Malvern Hills
From a life in the City, I found country living and my wife here in the wilds of Worcestershire. This little cottage is tucked away on the quiet end of the Malvern Hills. So private even the locals don’t know it exists. If your idyll is remote green valleys, wild wooded hillsides and rustic charm then you’ll fall in love with Elsie’s charms. I’ve put my soul into Elsie’s sourcing unique pieces, copper panelled bathroom walls. Opulent walk in shower and a secluded wood fired hot tub in the gardens. Outside I love a blast on my mountain bike through the hills or romping up a hill with the dog. So I invite you to come and indulge your senses and breath air into your lungs and have no-one disturb you.
