We arrived to some fantastic hampers that were put together specially for my wife’s birthday and catered for her dietary needs. The hot tub was already hot and ready to be used! From booking we had fantastic communication from Charlotte. Everything was clear to follow and the online house manual made life really easy for us. The place is perfectly situated for you to step out and start walking the Malvern Hills. You can go in any direction and find a good walk. Elsie's cottage is indeed a secret bolthole, tucked in the woods with all the unique and quirky features we expected. We loved stargazing from the hot tub and relaxing in the comfy lounge. The cottage offered a complete, home from home experience, catering for all our needs and more. A complete sanctuary that you will never want to leave. No expense has been spared on the furnishings, every detail is perfect and expensive. The hot tub is a place to relax and unwind, a glass of fizz on the patio before you bbq. Stocked so well with logs, bread, milk etc. sharp knives and cooking facilities were great. We've just had a wonderful stay at Elsie cottage, we didn't want to leave! Booking and Communication was great, some wonderful welcome touches to greet us on arrival. Very well equipped, I cooked a full roast with no problems! Some incredible walks from the door step, and lots of places to explore too. Highly recommended, especially during beautiful autumn. We knew Elsie’s cottage was going to be special when looking at the images on the booking site, but my goodness, in reality, what a truly special place it is! From the moment we drove up the track and saw the cottage peeping through the hedges we knew we were in for a treat!.. A haven, a place of tranquility and a place to completely unwind whilst surrounded by the most luxuriously curated furnishings. Nothing has been left without thought, from the welcome basket (thank you) to the lovely little touches such as room sprays, candles and a box full of goodies to keep you occupied if you fancy a potter in the garden, some flower pressing or a book to read. With the most comfiest beds, we had the best nights sleep ever!! And felt completely rested and relaxed ready to do nothing the next day other than indulge the hot tub which was fantastically located to see the sunsets and enjoy a glass of wine, or simply sit on the patio and listen the the wildlife around us, even having a visit from three beautiful calves one day who enjoyed a nibble on the cottage hedge as they meandered past, what a joy! We just loved Elsie’s, we felt like we had been wrapped up in a warm blanket from the moment we walked in, and really didn’t want to leave…Is a holiday hangover a thing?! Because we feel we have the worst one ever, with the only cure being a trip back for longer, so roll on next year when we can again have the privilege of being able to call Elsie’s ‘home’ ~ We can’t wait! I cannot recommend Elsie’s Cottage enough. From the gorgeous fresh chocolate brownies and provisions that welcomed us on arrival (chrisps, bread, eggs, fruit juice, milk, prosecco) through to the stunning location, it was all just perfect. The cottage is small but well equipped with everything you can think of. The outdoor area with hot tub, pizza oven, BBQ and sun loungers were all used by us on multiple occasions and were made even better is glorious weather although I’d come here any time of the year! To top it off, you can go on amazing walks straight from the gate without the need to drive anywhere. Truly wonderous, just what we needed and hopefully we’ll be back again soon!

Recently stayed in this beautiful cottage retreat with three friends. The setting is stunning, peaceful and remote, the perfect location to rest, relax and forget the busy world for a while. The furnishings and amenities are top quality, but with a sustainable slant. Most items organic, fair trade or repurposed antiques. The beds super comfy, the cottage super cosy and the hot tub (once heated) feels so decadent overlooking the Malvern surroundings. We did some stunning walks and also visited Ledbury, which is well worth the trip. Tesco delivery found us, but needed help carrying the crates up the lane.
