Blow away the winter blues

As all country folk know, it’s not the weather it s the gear that matters.

So pack your woolies, boots and coat and get adventuring. The Malvern Hills are so accessible from Elsie’s cottage that they demand to be climbed. Take a hike across the hills, or blast  through the Forest of Dean on a mountain bike for that dose of  fresh air and excitement.

Cornwall beaches and it’s coastline are great in almost all weathers. So pack a mac, and head out over the cliffs for some photo opportunities and a blast of sea air.

Maybe you’ve always fancied trying cold water swimming, there’s plenty of groups and instructors to help you give it a try.

Whatever way you’d like to get a blast of winter there are plenty of choices.

  • Challenge yourself to cold water swimming
